First, Mohamad Ramli Manan is not Ex-Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA)
director as written by Mkini news portal but just another senior officer
retired in 2006.
Ramli based his opinion on AG’s press statement and again mislead
himself to the RM2.6billion ‘donation’ by ignoring that it was a
political grant and not on PM Najib’s personal interest as a public
officer. Should MalaysiaKini recognises Ramli as a qualified lawyer, it
is such a disgrace to appoint him when obviously Ramli failed to
understand and elaborate what political grant is.
We certainly need law experts to distinguish between accepting political
donations and receving gratification but since Ramli was referred as
the oppositions’ law expert, let us see what former Federal Court judge
Datuk Wira Mohamad Noor Ahmad has to say, and it is a judge versus the
