In this huge family such as UMNO, there is always a ‘bad apple’ or the
‘black sheep’. But this time, the disgrace comes from the the number two
in the leadership who behaved and reacted that the number one is not
only his rival but worst enemy. Unfortunately, this number two could not
realise that he did not gain majority support as in realities of
politics, majority that rules.
Realising that a deputy president coud
becoming the president that is only a heartbeat away from the
presidency, should the president become unable to serve, it seems that
Muhyiddin Yassin is persistently portraying Datuk Seri Najib Razak has
lost the credibility to lead UMNO.
As a seasoned politician, Muhyiddin knew
that by mounting doubts against the President among the party members,
that is the best strategy to get rid of the President. But what
Muhyiddin forgotten, the President gained majority and almost all the
support and especially from the party’s supreme council.
Speaking in Pagoh recently, with his
capacity as UMNO Deputy President, Muhyiddin has clearly shown his
continous rebellion mode against the number one. For all we know his
personal vendetta still pursues since he was dropped from the
ministerial line, Muhyiddin kept on repeating that he was removed for
speaking up and his right to speak the truth was denied.
If truth and freedom to speak to be
denied, is Muhyiddin telling us the truth and nothing but the truth? Was
his tongue truly zipped during every supreme council meeting?
Perhaps,
Muhyiddin need to be reminded the word ‘decorum’ as he is no ordinary
party member but as a number two in UMNO top leadership... PRU14
