DO NOT SHED ANY CROCODILE TEARS FOR PROTON, WE KNOW YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE

As expected, Dr Mahathir will continue to make allegations claiming that when Proton is sold to China, it is no more Malaysia’s. Without any delay, again he wrote in his recent blog post that he is willing to weep for the loss of the Proton whom he regarded it as his son.In fact, Proton is not bygone but still remains belonged to Malaysia and a Malaysian businessman. Nevertheless, Dr Mahathir has lost to Proton. Oddly when Perwaja that is also considered as the brainchild of Dr Mahathir, was gone, he did not weep and felt sad about it. Does Dr Mahathir aim Proton to face the same fate as Perwaja?

Proton shares purchase is just another business strategy and nothing concerning with the question of sovereignty. Mahathir’s accusations are utter rubbish since the company that owns Proton DRB-Hicom Berhad (DRB-Hicom) has only sold their 49.9 percent stake whereas DRB-Hicom still holds a majority stake of 51.1 percent. With that, DRB-Hicom still remains as the majority of Malaysia’s owned company.

Further, Mahathir accused that when the government is selling state assets such as Proton to a foreign country, it is meant to resolve debts. It is as if Dr Mahathir is conveniently ignorant of Proton’s ailing financial status even to run its own operations. Instead, the share purchase by Geely as a strategic partnership could bring better future for Proton and their employees too.

It is not just Proton, but on August 2, 2010, Geely has bought a stake in the Swedish company, Volvo for USD$1.3 billion of Ford Motor. As a result, Volvo car sales increased up to 27% in the next year. Volvo factory is still in Sweden and Belgium. Neither any from the opposition block in Sweden raised the question of the share purchased by Geely to the loss of the country’s sovereignty.

Geely too bought The London Taxi Company in the United Kingdom for £ 4.11 in 2012. Were there from their opposition bloc in the United Kingdom claimed that Geely’s purchase is akin to selling their national sovereignty? No! It is only the opposition pact in Malaysia called Pakatan Harapan that will accuse the government of casting off the country’s sovereignty to Geely when Proton shares sold.

Malaysians already knew that from 1985 to 2000, Proton produced their vehicles that are mostly based on the design of vehicles and spare parts including engines from Mitsubishi of Japan. Proton has teamed up with Mitsubishi Motors between 1983 and 1984 for the production of Malaysia’s first car.

So much so that even as Dr Mahathir drove Proton’s first car on the Penang Bridge, it was not entirely the work of Proton and locals. It was a strategic partnership between Japanese companies with Malaysia’s. During those years, why did Dr Mahathir compromised the sovereignty of Malaysia to Japan?

Proton today is a business entity under the control of a local tycoon Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary. The business decision is done by Syed Mokhtar who will in any way allows Proton to drag into losses and Dr Mahathir’s drama. Geely is just a strategic partner yet Proton remains intact.

Proton will not be compensated for selling part of its stake in the company to a potential partner from China, in fact, Proton will be more successful in the car manufacturing industry.

From wasting his grief and crocodile tears, it is best if Dr Mahathir weeps or show his deep concerns for the Malays who are oppressed by DAP in Penang when they have lost more than 20 Malay villages on the island. In fact, Dr Mahathir should fiercely condemn DAP for allowing the government under Lim Guan Eng to borrow unlimited money from China under the approval of the States Loan (Banks and Other Financial Resources) in 2017. Why is the silence about it?

Geely’s purchase of shares is purely business and it does not affect our sovereignty. Do not be fooled by the crocodile tears from that gimmicky old man and as we know, the drama is an anxiety that he can no longer be arbitrarily interfering in Proton affairs for his cronies luxuries.

WHEN #MAHATHIR IS FULL OF HIMSELF, HISTORY SHOULD BE GIVEN FULL ATTENTION

Many are torn between to either support or reject Dr Mahathir when he first declared war against Prime Minister Najib Razak. That was two years ago and as time passes by, many realised that his true intentions are only meant to meet his personal greed that he will stop at nothing to go against PM Najib and the ruling party BN/UMNO.

Perception is Dr Mahathir’s key tool that the rakyat need to believe PM Najib and the ruling party BN/UMNO is heading to its downfall without him any longer with the party. Therefore, not only the members and leaders of BN / UMNO should feel indebted but all Malaysians should be grateful to him alone. In his recent MalaysiaKini interview, it was written that he quipped over his retirement and the message is many felt that he should have not left the premier office that soon. The tone of regret seems obvious.

Dr Mahathir finally left his office after 22 years in power in 2003. In reality, his political history is not as smooth as what he used to claim that not once had anyone ever demanded his resignation. This resonates to his infamous quote … “Melayu Mudah Lupa”, this time it is him and he conveniently forgets the past.

Should Dr Mahathir needed to be reminded, he received his first blow to demand his resignation is as early as 1988 when he was challenged by Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah (Ku Li) in UMNO election. It all began when Dr Mahathir almost lost to Ku Li and his flimsy victory was doubted that dragged UMNO to be revoked by the High Court.

From that very moment, it is the beginning of split among Malay support for UMNO when Ku Li’s supporters were treated unjustly that some of them were stripped off from their ministerial posts and Ku Li’s position as the Finance Minister was Dr Mahathir’s prime target. Subsequent to UMNO Baru, Dr Mahathir had put a stop to all Ku Li’s supporters that eventually a new party “Semangat 46” was established to join force with the opposition pact comprises of Berjaya, PBS, PRM and Hamim.

In their preparation to face GE8 in 1990, they managed to capture Kelantan and Sabah where it is also the beginning of the opposition strength and it was Dr Mahathir who is responsibe to unite them.

UMNO once again faced with a major split when Dr Mahathir expelled his third Deputy Anwar Ibrahim. Most political analyst agreed that it is even more severe compared to the days of Ku Li’s power struggle. Has Dr Mahathir conveniently forgotten the massive protest he received during the birth of Anwar’s Gerakan Reformasi?

It all began when Anwar was said to be very influential and more popular than Dr Mahathir that there were talks among UMNO members, Anwar was eyeing the President’s position and this means that Dr Mahathir will be challenged in the upcoming party election. Dr Mahathir’s first move was to demonise Anwar with moral issues that he had received letters from anonymous writer (also known as ‘surat layang’) alleging the latter’s scandals with a married woman and sodomy activities with his driver. Dr Mahathir later dismissed such allegations but intentionally let such perception ran wild among UMNO members and the rakyat too.

Subsequent to that, it was apparent how Dr Mahathir, the then Prime Minister and Anwar who was also the Finance Minister, had their differences to handle the 1997 economy crisis. Dr Mahathir and Daim with their National Economic Action Council (MTEN), was meant to stem Anwar’s popularity who had begun publicly to question the premier’s credibility and serious allegations on corruptions as well as cronysm practices.

To keep Anwar from advancing, Dr Mahathir chose to expel him from all party and ministerial positions and the existance of Gerakan Reformasi was meant to lead the move to demand Dr Mahahtir’s resignation. These Gerakan Reformasi protesters are those who introduced the labels ‘MahaFiraun’ and ‘MahaZalim’ directed for Dr Mahathir.

During those trying times for Dr Mahathir, who were those who had given their unconditional support to him if not the UMNO members? It is thus, with a united and strong team work from UMNO leaders and members that Dr Mahathir was able to remain as prime minister for 22 years and Malaysians continue to support Barisan Nasional as the ruling party.

Dr Mahathir might not be able to survive if his commanders were severly wounded and his armies were crippled. In case if Dr Mahathir needed to be reminded, one of his loyal and courageous commander is non other than PM Najib Razak who was then leading the party’s youth wing during the first UMNO’s aftermath.

But when Dr Mahathir is so full of himself, he is now blinded with selfish politics and to go against UMNO and its members has certainly crossed the line. Therefore, the best reminder for him is to pay full attention to history that never lies when there are still living witnesses and evidences who are …  the “Melayu belum lupa”!

#MAHATHIR’S INCREDULOUSNESS

He had got his dream to oust PM Najib fixed so strong in his head that he could not seem to shake it loose anymore and get the facts back into its place again. Some may say he is desperate but in reality, he is living in a world full of fantasies.

In those days, there is a famous satirical P Ramlee movie named ‘Nujum Pak Belalang’ where a man who made a living by predicting fortunes. In the modern days, fortune-telling is still acceptable by some and today, it is favored by politicians. The latest that we know, Dr Mahathir seems adding to the numbers of political fortune-telling and he is fit to take over the infamous Chegu Bard’s title, a former member of PKR.

With just another splinter from UMNO states assemblyman, Dr Mahahtir has already confirmed that 3 other Barisan Nasional states will collapse soon but this time around he seems to be hesitant to tell us when.

In his speech during Muar roadtour, Dr Mahathir used the word ‘we’ and ‘our’ but failed to specify who are his alliances. Has Pakatan Harapan allies accepted his new party? Has PAS agreed to Muhyiddin’s courting? Will PAS kowtow to DAP once again? Are there any party from Sabah and Sarawak have pledged to join force with him? The answer is a BIG NO.

Dr Mahathir predicted more UMNO assemblymen would follow suit with YB Jorak to join his new political party that Perak, Terengganu and Johor will fall to the opposition pacts. If what Dr Mahathir says are true, did he realised that first, it is not his party that will be leading the states government but those with most seats.

The party with majority seats are more eligible to be its Chief Minister and of course they belong to the Pakatan Harapan alliances. The new line of excos will be at their discretions too and should PPBM is given a post, it will only be at their mercy. Therefore, how does Barisan Nasional’s fall could benefit Dr Mahathir’s party when they are the minority among the oppositions?

TOP BLOOPERS IN MAHATHIR’S SCARY MOVIE

In September alone we are witnessing Dr Mahathir’s ceaseless failures in his attempts to tear down UMNO and its Presidential Institution besides his malice efforts to undermine PM Najib’s leadership credibility. It is like watching another sequel of the famous ‘Scary Movie’ but this time it is the Dr Mahathir’s version and we have to admit that some of his plots are beyond our expectations such as when he starts courting his archenemies like Kit Siang and Anwar Ibrahim.

‘Scary Movie’ series is a spoof of several American horror movies meant from spine chilling plots and turned them as jokes. But in Dr Mahathir’s version, there are 5 top bloopers clumsily done that ended up to uncover all accusations and allegations by him are just a puppet of lies that was maliciously created and later exaggerated.

It is more interesting when the top 5 bloopers are premiered to us within a short period of time, within just a month.

You name it... stern message from Sultan of Johor and a let down by our King, that is just to name a few. Read further ... HERE

NAJIB’S PANTANG

It is not for his first time and it is again repeated in his recent statement as the UMNO President that he shall fight his political nemesis to the end. Today he has made it clear that the very reason he is more than willing to face them is because he has one ‘pantang’, that is anyone who betrays UMNO struggle is his abstinence.

Malaysians are rich in their culture and the word ‘pantang’ is understood by all walks of the rakyat that some would consider it as a stern warning when others would cross a certain limits of relationship and perhaps this ‘pantang’ word also applies to health treatment when anyone failed to comply to its prescriptions, they can expect taboo.

The Malays, Chinese and Indians and perhaps other races too believed in their own social ‘pantang’. For instance to sweep your house on the eve of a celebration is a ‘pantang’ when this could prevent prosperity to their homes. Some would go to the extend believing in feng shui related to numbers when the chinese abstained from number 4 that carries the meaning of death and bad luck whereas others would try to avoid from associating them with number 13 which could have the similar impact of being unlucky.

They say that the worst thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies but the trusted ones. Therefore every Malaysians who are very familiar with the word ‘pantang’ and understood well what PM Najib meant when he said that there will be no retreat and surrender against Dr Mahathir’s and Muhyiddin’s betrayal, thus that contained in his pantang.

PM Najib has proven to UMNO members that in his 40 years, not once he has double-crossed the 3 previous party presidents lining from the late Tun Husin Onn, Dr Mahahtir Mohamed and Pak Lah that being supportive and loyal is the milestone to UMNO struggle and it is therefore essential and expected.

For 22 years, Dr Mahathir was bombarded from all corners including the foreign medias and leaders and yet everyone in UMNO stood beside him where PM Najib Razak is not excluded. PM Najib’s loyalty to the President was first tested when Dr Mahathir faced his greatest challenge from Ku Li that he almost lost the party presidency election, yet Najib chose to support him.

Next, when PM Najib’s previous boss from the youth wing Anwar Ibrahim who was asked to leave UMNO, he stood loyal with Dr Mahathir eventhough UMNO lost its popularity among the Malays and that was the first time when US has openly insulting the sovereignty of our nation and most unfortunate it happened in our own home ground. Najib still supports Dr Mahathir.

PM Najib was in great dilemma when Pak Lah received Dr Mahathir’s criticism and certain leaders in UMNO vocally requested the latter’s resignation. During the time, on one hand Najib was Dr Mahathir’s blue-eyed boy and on the other, he is the second man in the party and government. He was loyal to UMNO and Pak Lah and did not abandon them.

Today, it is very unfortunate for UMNO leaders and members when they are witnessing the acts of treason in daylight from their former President Dr Mahathir and the former Vice President Muhyiddin Yassin. Both are collaborating with the oppositions and both are allowing foreign medias to throw lies and slanders against the President.

Dr Mahathir was proven lying twice for all his baseless accusations when first, he admitted that he possessed no evidence and second when Ling Liong Sik’s attempt to dismiss a defamation suit by PM Najib, Kuala Lumpur high court confirmed that Liong Sik’s argument with Dr Mahathir’s blog articles are mere hearsays and unreliable.

During his last office as the deputy to Prime Minister and party president, Muhyiddin has made himself obvious as a non-team player in the ministerial line-ups and in UMNO supreme committee. He had his platform to question any differences or doubts instead he went public to find answers and pathetically, his fallacies relied on assumption reportings.
Earlier he admitted he would not understand on the 1MDB discrepancies and had to rely on the Edge reportings but it is laughable when even his colleagues in the cabinet and his party could refute his accusations with a more convincing explanations. Obviously Muhyiddin is only interested to find faults rather than solving them.

PM Najib took the opportunity to recall how Melaka was collapsed to foreign powers Portuguese, Dutch and the British for more than 700 years. The collapse was caused by only one insider to betray the nation. For that, PM Najib alerted UMNO members to remain loyal to the party or pay a very high price of not only loosing power but our nation’s prestige and dignity will aslo be on sale.

From his 40 years track records in UMNO, PM Najib has shown the true meaning and the price for being loyal and obedience. No leader in the world would appreciate betrayals and no organisation could last with any act of treachery. What Dr Mahahtir and his team did are clear treason to UMNO and the nation. For that, their dismissals are appropriate and Najib’s ‘pantang’ is justified too.

FOUR IS STILL A COMPANY BUT THE FIFTH IS NOT ALLOWED

Eventually, Dr Mahathir and Muhyiddin registered their new party to be called ‘Bersatu’ to join the opposition political arena and earlier have agreed to work alongside with the pact of Pakatan Harapan. Sounds promising but still intriguing to expect what will happen next.

Too early to get excited over the UMNO splinter new party, what the supporters may not realized is whether they will go solo similar to PAS or will they add to the Pakatan Harapan allies. This will be their actual challenge and not what they have outlined in their ultimate objectives to oust Prime Minister Najib Razak from his office.

Just after it was announced, Dr Mahathir and his pro temp committee who wishes that the new party to be known as ‘Bersatu’ by stating that its membership is exclusive only for the Malays, they have received heated criticism even from their bedfellows DAP and PKR. To them, the new party is just another racist political party that other than Malays, they will be treated as second class members who will have no function but to be abused.

DAPSY or the chinese dorminant party DAP youth wing has made it clear to abstain from Dr Mahathir’s new party as they regarded it as no different from UMNO. To them the new party obviously would practice racial discrimination that will not save Malaysia but instead it will continue to propagate racism in this country.

Really DAP? Since birth, every walks of this nation knew that DAP is a Chinese party eventhough one or two from Indians and Malays are slipped into their executive committee. We can witness that in every DAP assembly, it will be conducted in Mandarin and is this not racial discrimination too? DAP too ignored our national language and that is Bahasa Melayu and it is amusing to note that if DAP is fair to other races.

As for PKR, they are more concerned if Mahathir’s party could truly champion in their reform agenda to meet the needs of all races. A cynical reminder from PKR that if Mahathir’s party would wish to survive longer, it has to be based on high fighting spirit for all races who wants change of the whole country system and they should not ultimately for the sake of ousting one person only. Again, really?

Who is Anwar Ibrahim to PKR then? Is he not that one person that is all about PKR? Is Anwar Ibrahim no more the ultimate objective in their high fighting spirit? No doubt that PKR represented by multi-racial members but the husband, the wife and the daughter are the decision makers and again other races are just merely to  fulfill the empty spaces.

DAP and PKR are the main forces in the opposition coalition Pakatan Harapan (PH) while PAN is still too young. PAN has no choice but to bow to their fund provider, DAP. With all sorts of comments and critics from DAP and PKR on Mahathir’s new party, they are just excuses to nip him in the bud before another UMNO DNA joins the ship.

To replace the present government, the opposition pact comprises of DAP, PKR and PAN understood that they should face Barisan Nasional (BN) allies too and not just UMNO. Dr Mahathir and his anti-Najib team also knew it too well that without an official coalition, in no way that BN could be replaced.

Before the Pakatan Harapan allies could even agree to sit together to discuss about it, the three’s company has already regarded the fourth and perhaps the fifth as a crowd and perhaps not even welcomed. Before anyone could realise the reality of the game, DAP and PKR still reserved some soft spots for PAS since they have been working with the devils that they already knew while Mahathir’s new party is considered as a curious bedfellow to be dealt with.

Eventually, with Dr Mahathir and Muhyiddin histories, their new party will be treated as odd partners and their fate will end up similar to PAS to run as a single handed party in the next general election that the recent Sarawak state election contesting with each other is bound to be repeated again.

The three is a  company and the fourth is still compromised but the fifth is definitely an odd crowd.

ANOTHER UMNO DNA TO LEAD THE NEW OPPOSITION PACT?

Please be certain about this, Dr Mahathir will not and shall not go for any less than as the sole decision maker in any organisation or business deals. In politics, he is well known for his iron fist style of controlling Barisan Nasional and the recent almost paralyzed national car Proton, he is fond of intefering in every single decision in the organisation. That is just to name a few.
It is not just about a new political party to be born as announced by Dr Mahathir’s son lately and Muhyiddin Yassin as their President, it is their ultimate goal to collaborate with the existing opposition pact for a new brand coalition that was once failed.
Previously, Pakatan Rakyat (PR) comprises of PAS, DAP and PKR have failed to register as the official opposition single pact to face Barisan Nasional in the General Election 13 that resulted each went solo in every seat. The Registrar of Societies (ROS) has outlined that at least 7 combination political parties for them to be eligible as an official coalition.
Realising that either Pakatan Rakyat or their new coalition Pakatan Harapan shall never succeed to take over Putrajaya and will remain as a shadow partner, today as though Dr Mahathir has given them a new breath to make the opposition coalition as one, almost a reality. The next headache for them now is who will actually lead and in control when whoever leads will be their Prime Minister.

The Pakatan Harapan or dissolved Pakatan Rakyat members only recognises Anwar Ibrahim as their leader and to them, he is the most eligible candidate to fit in the Prime Minister’s seat. That also remains to most of their supporters and leaders. Unfortunately, he has to serve his 5 years behind bars for his second sodomy charge involving his coffee boy and also his favorite personal assistant.

Everyone and especially the opposition leaders and supporters knew that Dr Mahathir would in any way ever welcome Anwar and what more to nominate him as the new pact President. He once again has caused wrath among Anwar’s family and supporters during an interview with Australian media that Anwar has moral issues that will not fit to lead the country. For that, Muhyiddin is sent to be the mediator between Wan Azizah and Dr Mahathir to cool off the continous tense.

The new opposition coalition will be an akin to Barisan Nasional (BN). In BN, UMNO leads since they have the most parliamentary seats and no qualms among the allies about it. It is thus a consensus. Whereas in the the last general election, DAP has the most and PAS has the least. PKR stands second but the head of opposition still goes to them.

When Wan Azizah failed to get hold of Selangor Menteri Besar seat, she was given the chance to replace her husband to lead the opposition pact. As time goes by, we observed that she only filled in the seat but DAP will have every final say when the coalition is concerned. DAP was first to announce that Pakatan Rakyat is dissolved whereas Wan Azizah came in later to make it official.

DAP announced the new born party for PAN and Wan Azizah is only invited during the launching. DAP too announced a snap poll for Penang when Wan Azizah still unconvinced about it. Therefore among the oppostion allies, it is always and will be DAP who leads since they have the most seats.

What will be Dr Mahathir’s new pact then? Declaring that Muhyiddin will be appointed as the President for his new political party thus perhaps Dr Mahathir would wish Muhyiddin to lead the new opposition pact, will it be a consensus from DAP and PKR to have another UMNO DNA?

Dr Mahathir, Muhyiddin and Mukhriz are recent splinters from UMNO and make no mistake about it that they are still what the javanese says … ‘TOTOK’ which if translated to english meaning, PURE. Infacat, they have made themselves clear that they are not interested to be part of the opposition party members.

Should the new coalition materialised, therefore DAP in particular will once again has to kow tow to another UMNO DNA. It will not be their choice but it is Dr Mahathir’s since he takes the lead. DAP and PKR will have to agree to his way or there will be no way to oust Barisan Nasional in the next general election. From a loose pact to another even more brittle coalition, it seems DAP and PKR should need more luck than sense when now they are driving into Death Valley without water and yet they are adding passengers.

HIDDEN AGENDAS IN PEOPLE’S DECLARATION

To what extent is the People’s declaration led by Dr Mahathir will succesfully impact the nation? Even it is a talking point among the people since launched on last Friday,  skeptics and disagreements has started to surface within less than a week from both sides of their staunch supporters and even their leaders.

It is crystal clear that each of those present are only concerned with their own personal agenda. This is where the drama plot shall starts to differ even if the sole intention is to topple Prime Minister Najib Razak. But each of their hidden personal agenda could be seen clearly written on the wall.

Wan Azizah and Guan Eng absence is a BIG question... WHY?

SINDIRAN MAHATHIR MEMAKAN DIRINYA

Ramai yang mendabik dada bila menegur kerana tidak pandai memamahi kata-kata sindiran Mahathir. Di antaranya;
