DAMN IT RAYER... CELAKA RAYER... AND SO ITS OK!!!

Seri Delima DAP rep, Rayer outspokenness with vulgar words has triggered outrage among some Pemuda UMNO members spreading through Kuala Lumpur and now Kuantan.

Say no further, their outrage are the consequnces Rayer and DAP should anticipate from what happened in DUN sitting a few days back. Finally it outburst when these Pemuda UMNO members very well knew that DAP and their leaders felt neither sorry nor regret for their actions. Its just being them - the arrogant and ill mannered bunch of poltical leaders.

Its proven when Rayern continously calling UMNO 'celaka' on stage in Bukit Gelugor by-election campaign lasti night. In his imperious tone, Rayer mentioned that UMNO is of no relevant anymore that they never served other races in this country.

After all said and Pemuda UMNO retaliated, Rayer finally responded but without regret and still stood by his vulgar words and called that it should be taken in jest and as just another common word in Bahasa.

Therefore, it is ok should anyone address him as YB Celaka or perhaps YB Damn It?

In this blog, shall we address him as Rayer the Celaka YB since it should be taken in jest and no one should have hard feelings about it. Even to the extend if we call him as “anak haram” and “pariah”, are these even more demeaning? And what is the difference among them? It should be ok if Rayer utter such vulgar words but it is not ok if anyone from UMNO did the same.

This is just not only double standard but its pure malicious and not dignified.

Too bad, we are not Rayer!

To the extend, even if it slipped from our tounge, we regretted and apologised. This was shown by BN's Sungai Acheh rep Datuk Mahmud Zakaria also called Rayer “haram jadah” out of anger over the issue and later said he apologised.

We are not taught to insult others with vulgar words even if we wish to vent our anger to anyone and its not our culture and manners as civilised Malaysians to swear. What more if we should regard it as common in our everyday literature. Thats how we were brought up from our ancestors for generations.

Rayer claimed that he had no choice but to utter 'celaka' since Bahasa Malaysia is the official language during DUN sitting but that is not the issue!

The real issue is swearing and cursing, are being allowed and practised by members of legislative as and when they wish to vent their anger towards their opponents. How shall we place leadership by example among these ill mannered leaders?

If protests and street demos are able to contain, would Rayer and other DAP leaders feel upset if someday there are people who would woe them by calling YB Celaka by the roadside or in large gatherings, would they treat as a jest?

Even a child would follow by example and not your advice, therefore Rayer should be ashamed to be called as a leaderto his community. Full Stop!
