WU YUE WU, HUAN ZHENG FU... BUKTI CINA INGIN RAMPAS KUASA MELAYU

MCA perlu lakukan pembaharuan

Beginikah rupanya penganalisa mencipta angka mereka sendiri?

Antaranya;

Sakmongkol:

Sakmongkol:
Sekali lagi buatlah perhitungan.

MCA hanya mendapat
899,420, MIC  291,814 dan Gerakan 153,081.... seterusnya di SINI

Seterusnya bandingkan pula dengan perincian analisa dan maklumat yang menunjukkan peratus undi Melayu di Semenanjung Malaysia yang berpihak kepada BN ialah sebanyak 63.3%, undi Cina 10.8% dan undi India ialah 43.2%. Butiran untuk negeri-negeri dan wilayah adalah seperti berikut;

Pengundian Mengikut Kaum

Kredibiliti blogger Sakmongkol juga dipertikai di blog Hidup Tuah dan antara penerangannya ialah;

Teguh bersepakat mendukung pemerintahan ‘Kongsi Kuasa’
Sama sama ada peranan untuk bangunkan negara

Masa Presiden UMNO persembahkan pada Raja Raja
Sebagai timbang rasa persediaan untuk Merdeka
Syarat warga Perjanjian Malaya 1 Feb 1948
diketepikan sahaja
Terima sejuta jadi rakyat

Tetapi kalau kita dah setuju pilih Malaysia
Maka kita sama sama jaga Malaysia

Dan tolak serta ambil tindakan kepada
badut badut celaka ini
BUKAN engkau Cina semua SOKONG badut sial ini
Yang seluruh pelusuk tidak henti henti
menjalankan aktiviti
Menghasut masyarakat Cina melihat
Melayu dengan perasaan benci

Terkinja kinja macam kera kena belacan
masa ‘Blackout Lima-Kosong-Lima’
BUKAN engkau Cina semua diam
dan tak ambil tindakan segera
Ke atas anak-anak Cina yang Kurang Ajar
dan Biadap lakunya
Dan suka-suka terbalikkan bendera Malaysia
Atau suka-suka hina Raja Raja
Membelakangkan prinsip-prinsip Rukun Negara

Aku tak pilih jadi Melayu
Aku pilih Persekutuan Malaysia
prinsip prinsip Rukun Negara

Kalau engkau dah tak pilih semangat Malaysia
Maka engkau Cina pergilah cari lain negara
Mencaci tanah air tanpa sedikitpun rasa duka

Kalau engkau masih nak pilih Malaysia
Maka engkau perlu BUKTIKAN engkau Sayang Malaysia

Engkau Cina benci Utusan Malaysia
Tetapi engkau Cina sokong akhbar akhbar Cina
Yang artikelnya bersifat rasis dan chauvinis belaka

Aku pilih Malaysia
Bukan sengaja aku cari sengketa
Datuk tidak kering gusi berpesan sentiasa
Jahat jangan sekali tapi buat baik biar berpada

Engkau Cina juga pilih untuk
BENCI UMNO dan PERKASA
Dan mengecil-ngecilkan agensi
dimana Melayu jadi penguasa
Merata ceramah Chauvinis Cina
engkau pasang telinga
Tanpa sedikit pun perasaan
Melayu ditimbang rasa

Maka janganlah marah bila Melayu
mula bicara dan mencerna minda
PILIH UNTUK MENOLAK SELURUH MASYARAKAT CINA
BOIKOT PERNIAGAAN, PERSATUAN SERTA SEKOLAH
& BUDAYA CINA
YANG PENGHABIS BICARANYA TAK HORMAT MALAYSIA!

Aku Pilih Malaysia
Sebab Aku tiada pilihan lain
Demi Sayang & Cintaku Kepada Negara!

@mkula : DAP BAYAR UNTUK JADI BODOH

Tiba-tiba Red Bean Army bukan tajaan DAP?

Apabila Menteri Dalam Negeri,  Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi bertegas untuk memburu dan mengambil tindakan tentera-tentera siber DAP iaitu Red Bean Army, satu persatu kenyataan menafikan dari pihak DAP.

Ini terbukti bila MP DAP cuba menafikan dan anggap ia satu jenaka;

MY VOICE FOR THE NATION?? .... My foot!!!

Ini pula jawapan untuk @mkula dari rakyat;

Sekali lagi kepada @mkula.... either you are mere stupid to cover the Chinese DAP subversive act or you are proud to be a compulsive liar to your nation and especially your race?

TAN SRI SYED HAMID ALBAR - PENDEKATAN PENGERUSI SPAD BERJIWA RAKYAT

Apakah pencapaian SPAD, semenjak Tan Sri menduduki kerusi Pengerusi?

Jadi kita kena ambilkira pandangan kerajaan.Kalau datang parti politik, susahlah.”

Gesaan DAP supaya SPAD diletak di bawah kementerian pengangkutan, Tan Sri berkata parti itu sering berubah pendirian.

“Saya tak tahu apa DAP hendak. DAP ini berubah ubah. Saya tengok mula-mula Tony Pua kata tak nak MRT.

"RACIAL-BOYCOTT" ... CHINESE WENT AMOK

The Malay and Chinese Chambers of Commerce representative, Yeah Kim Leng yesterday told the Malaysian Insider that the ‘racial boycott’ promoted by the ‘pro-UMNO bloggers’ is going to ‘hurt’ the Malaysian economy and ‘frightened’ the investors away.

He is obviously talking about the the call for boycott all Chinese pro-DAP products by the Malays, which is now going viral.

We could call it a ‘side-effect’ from the GE-13 result that witnessed a total rejection of the Chinese towards the ruling party a.k.a the Malay-led government. Yeah urges Putrajaya to intervene in order to stop the boycott.

I am sure that Yeah is well aware that the Malays have been putting up with the racist game played by Chinese newspapers and the ‘over-reacting’ of the Chinese on racial issues for so long, hoping that the Chinese would one day appreciate their tolerance.

However, the Chinese took the tolerance as an ego-booster. The arrogance that the Chinese once displayed during the 13th May tragedy was again displayed throughout the GE-13 campaigns.

The truth is, the majority is sick over the ‘hypocritical-sensitivity’ of the Chinese. Every time they are reminded of the social contract, they would retaliate by shouting ‘racist’! Every time they are questioned of their nationalism and patriotism, they would bark ‘racist’! And when Utusan Malaysia asked them about what more do they want, which is an innocent, direct, simple question, the paper is condemned as ‘ultra-racist’!

On the other hand, the Chinese newspapers and politicians keep playing the racist card real hard that it comes to the point where the Chinese community failed to differentiate between ‘hate Malays and hate Malaysia’. And today we see their kids took pictures holding the Malaysia flag upside down - and proud of it.

After the GE-13, these racist Chinese extremists finally meet their par. Many Malay teachers and students in Chinese schools started speaking out of their experience in encountering racism in their schools. And many more started to question the role the Chinese newspapers have been playing all along in inciting prejudice, doubts and hatred towards the Malay-led government. The Malay politicians too, are fed-up the Chinese hypocrisy.

It’s now time to lay the racist card for everybody to see. As I have always said to my friends, when you deal with a racist, you have no choice but to be a racist or you will be oppressed. And the Chinese has always been wanting to do that to others – ‘oppress’.

The Malays have had enough of the Chinese chauvinism and arrogance, and so they say: “If you want to play racism, let’s play it”.

One might think that this is how the ‘racial boycott’ started.

In actual fact, it has started long ago when the Chinese slyly attacked and sabotaged all bumi products.

One example, when a Malay tycoon bought over Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd a few years ago over the worries of ‘halal’ status of the flour supply which has all the while being a Chinese tycoon monopoly, the Chinese community waited no time to launch a boycott over all Gardenia products.

Their excuse? It’s an UMNO-crony’s company.

This is a typical racist way of thinking; that it is okay for the Chinese to practice monopoly but it is never okay for a Malay to break the monopoly and provide a healthy competition because that would be cronysm. Unless, the competitor is a Chinese too, then it should be okay. As Yeah put it, it’s ‘unhealthy, childish and racist’ for the Malay to boycott Chinese products but it is ‘consumers’ rights’ for the Chinese to boycott Malay products.

It is also a well-known secret of how the Chinese play their racist cards in hiring people in the private sectors, that is by stating ‘mandarin’ as a requirement in the job advertisements. Up north, the racist card is often played out in the open where Chinese-owned organizations would not give an equal chance for the Malays to ‘grow’ in the company. Some even blatantly impose a double-standard salary scheme for different races under an ‘unwritten company procedure’ - of course.

And all the while, the Chinese is as arrogant as ever, telling the others that there is nothing they can do as the Chinese controls the economy.

May be it’s true that there is nothing others can do and that this boycott Chinese products will not get the Malays anywhere.

And so, if it’s true, we believe that there is no need for Yeah Kim Leng to be worried. Never mind the country’s economy, as the Chinese will not be affected. After all, it’s the Chinese that he is so concerned about, isn’t he?

The Chinese has stated that they don’t need others, so others have to ‘learn’ to live without the Chinese. And the learning starts now, through ‘boycott Chinese products’.

Please remember too - The Malays are the buying power and you ask for it, Chinese!

ONLY CHINESE ARE AGAINST CORRUPTION... Really???

Don’t let the bastards grind you down...

The latest Chinese Tsunami in GE13, as labelled by some quarters have thrown to some conclusions by the Chinese themselves. 10 out of 10 would yield to agree that they voted the oppositions because they want "CHANGE" for better Malaysia thats free from corruption.

Really? Think the world would buy that?

Well, the Chinese bought them from the oppositions and believed they are the only species in this world that they are not corrupted and holier than thou among other races.

Earlier in my posting, The World Value Survey has proven that Chinese are the most racist species in the world, to the extend  they abstain neighbouring other races. It does not stop there, Chinese also prefers to segregate their children away from other races through Vernacular School. This is enough to proof that Chinese do not tolerate, refuse to interact as well as reject any form of unity with other races.

They even accuse the government as racist if projects are awarded to Malay companies, even though their race did get fair share for those projects. The ugly side of this race is that they often shout for healthy competition, but at the same time they would criticize anything that leads towards healthy competition. This show that they are not just racist, but hypocrite and oppressor as well.

Yes there is corruption in this country - especially among the politicians.  But what I am really perplexed is if you are against corruption then why did you vote for the corrupt? This has been written in depth by blogger Out Syed The Box, answering  .... READ HERE

If the Chinese community is so against corruption, then why do you vote for such a person like Anwar Ibrahim? The same goes for Azmin Ali, Khalid Ibrahim, Zaid Ibrahim, Mat Taib, Kadir Sheikh Fazir, Chua Jui Meng.

When they were in the BN you accused all of them of being corrupt. Now when they jump ship to PR do you seriously expect people to believe that they have suddenly become "clean as a white sheet" angels?

One of the key issues raised during the recent 13th general election was corruption. Although a section of these views, criticisms and allegations did not have a strong basis or were merely perceptions, these were used as grounds to allege that the Government is not transparent, clean and does not have integrity.

HERE is the Press statement by the Consultation and Prevention Panel of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission  (MACC) recently. This panel is of the opinion that it is imperative for the Government to take into account all views, criticisms and allegations from various quarters on this issue.

To name some of the proposals;

1. Family Members of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Menteri Besar, Chief Ministers and State Executive Councillors Be Barred from Bidding for Government  contracts.

2. Declaration of Assets Once in Every Three Years to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission ( MACC).

Nevertheless, here's the proposal to those Chinese who voted oppositions who shouted for A FREE MALAYSIA FROM CORRUPTION by Tuan Syed and Im sure agreed by other races and the majority race ie Malay;

So make a vow that you will NEVER pay a single sen in corruption money to any Civil Servant. Just make a sacred vow, in your mother'a name, your father's name, in the name of your ancestors etc - that you will NEVER pay even one sen in corruption to any Policeman or to any Government servant.   Even if they torture you, even if they tie your hands and roast you over the fire you will NEVER belanja minum, belanja karaoke, belanja shopping for any Policeman or Government servant.

Till you do that and walk your talk.... Ill agree to your every notion that Chinese vote the Oppposition merely because they want a Malaysia thats free from corruption.

Please inform us, when can we have this sacred vow .... time and place!

CHINESE ARE THE MOST RACIST CREATURE ON EARTH

To apek and nyonya out there... read Bahasa Malaysia eh!

THE BASTARD CHINESE... ‘Chinese 1st, Malaysia last’

Product of vernacular school... ???
Chinese in Malaysia seem to have 'love' the idea of 'hitting' anyone who defend Malay rights as well as question their loyalty to this country. There isn't any need to insult them, reminding them that from history they are immigrants is enough to make sure that you will suffer the consequences. They will never stop barking as long as no actions are taken.

However, when the Chinese insult this country, Malays, Islam, the government as well as authorities to the level where it goes viral in the internet, they should be pardoned. If not, they will bark saying that the government is being cruel.

To cover up their biased view and rudeness, they would not stop claiming that UMNO is racist and Perkasa are joined by Malay extremists. Those claims are recycled again and again until it stays as a mindset of the race.

They claim that their race is oppressed by UMNO while Perkasa only intensifies it. Saying that it is tough for all races in Malaysia to unite as long as these two organisations are around to stop it. They even urged these two organisations to put Malaysia in front of race (Malaysia 1st, Malay 2nd).

Fact is, that is what UMNO and Perkasa have always wanted, for all races to put Malaysia in front of race. That is why we are pushing towards a single school system for all. That is why we want to all races to defend Bahasa Melayu as the national language instead of just making it as an easy way to socialize, in order to support the real meaning of ‘Malaysia 1st’ as urged by the Chinese.

However, the ones who are actually rejecting the spirit of ‘Malaysia 1st’ are actually the Chinese themselves.

The vernacular school product... ???
Obviously a lot of times we have seen that their loyalty to this country is not real. Just look at how Namewee insulted this country and not even a single Chinese criticized his actions. Who are the ones who proudly set the Malaysian flag upside down?! Utusan Malaysia today also reviewed how the Chinese often put shame on Malaysia in other countries.

Not that we don't know that most Chinese who travel overseas to study or migrate love to tarnish the country's image without feeling any guilt. They never have any love for their own country, they think that they are miserable in Malaysia, as if Malaysia is one dirty, ugly and foul country.

Fact is, this is the same country which has given them all the luxuries, they are even given a place in the government, something which is almost impossible for minorities in other countries could enjoy. Only in this country, they are able to form schools only for their race, approved and assisted by the government. Only in this country, they are allowed to print their newspapers in their language, which they have used to instigate and tarnish the government's image. Only in this country, their religious and cultural days are recognized as public holiday.

Despite all that, they still do not appreciate anything. Whenever BERSIH runs its rallies here, those who are in other countries would also wear yellow, raising banners, proudly accusing their own country.

Just look at what happened to Malaysian Chinese who are working in Singapore as they get too exited over insulting their own country claiming that it is cruel and they are oppressed, they seem to have forgotten how the country that they were staying is even more strict than Malaysia. From there, they were arrested and actions were taken against them without much explanation from authorities of the country while their 'comrades' in Malaysia run free, joining rallies around the country to challenge the government.

A CLEAR MESSAGE TO THE BASTARDS...

That is why, we only have one message for the Chinese, if you want to create more damage, at least do not be hypocrite. Do not pretend to be loyal to this country because everyone is aware that you hate this country.

There is no need to pretend and chant for transparency because DAP itself is not transparent that its own members were cheated when CEC election was rigged.

Do not pretend that you are oppressed because the whole world knows that the country's economy goes to the Chinese.

Do not pretend and rally around saying that there is no such thing as freedom of speech as those rallies you organized are enough to show that the statement is not true.

Do not pretend that you want unity because the fight to defend vernacular school itself proves that the Chinese never wanted unity.

Do not pretend that you want justice because the fight for equality is just a trick to take over other races. If the Chinese really want equality, then you should divide the 80% of their share of thee national economy to other races.

Thus, in short, do not pretend, fight on the real platform, show that the Chinese only fight for themselves. Admit the right thing, that all the barking done by you only goes to one objective: to put your race on top,
‘Chinese 1st, Malaysia last’.

I am certain that even the Chinese cannot deny this. Thus, government and all Malaysians should accept this fact and handle this as careful as possible so that our beloved country would not crumble thanks to the greed of Chinese.

How smart they think they are.... they can be stupid as they do. Read here...

PEMBANGKANG TAK BACA PERKARA 118???

The Harrowing Experience of being an EC/SPR Officer for GE13 by Joanne Lim (Notes) on Monday, 6 May 2013 at 21:48

Contrary to public perception, most of the EC officers in schools are civilians/teachers who applied for the job to be EC officers on election day. I applied for the job as I wanted to be a part of the election process and gain a first-hand experience of one of the most exciting events in my beloved country. And of course, what better way to ensure a clean and fair election than to be a part of it?

To my utter shock, many voters regarded me as a government machinery who was placed there to prevent them from voting/to destroy/track their votes. When checking for a man’s saluran using his IC, I was about to hand him the paper which merely stated the room he should vote in when he quickly said, “NO NO! Don’t give me anything! You’ll track me!” It was flabbergasting!

Voters thought we EC officers had the power to summon everything. Our centre asked MBPJ (in charge of us) for wheelchairs but were told that they had ran out of wheelchairs. People scolded us for having no wheelchairs, but really, that was completely, absolutely not our fault. We asked for wheelchairs numerous times, but we never got it. To be fair to MBPJ, their staff looked harassed and exhausted each time we saw them (they ate, slept and worked in their centre round the clock few weeks prior to elections). I could imagine the number of phone calls they received that day as polling centres with problems called them for assistance. In the end we carried chairs from classrooms so that the senior citizens could sit in line and I drove senior citizens who walked in the school to the doorstep of their saluran. And I'm sorry about the sun, we can't help it if you have to queue in the sun, really we can't. We ourselves suffered in the heat, at least you could go home after voting.

One voter rudely asked me why she had to vote in a different saluran from her mother. She lamented about the inconvenience of it all and demanded that I change it. What she (and many others) failed to understand was that we were merely following a pre-decided electoral roll which had already placed everyone into various salurans according to your IC number. Saluran 1 started with the oldest voters on the list, Saluran 6 had the youngest voters.

Yes, changing your saluran is possible, we did it for a number of disabled/injured voters who couldn’t climb up staircases. But the paperwork involved in that is not easy, with clerks in both salurans involved having to co-ordinate and fill in forms. So what, you’ll think. That’s what you are paid for! Well, there are only 5-6 EC officers in each room, each time an EC officer is held up by such paperwork the entire voting process is delayed. We (and you) want to prevent fraud and cheating, hence paperwork is extremely necessary. You think it’s just a matter of you casting your vote in another classroom? The number of ballot papers provided for each saluran has already been fixed, any discrepancies and we’ll be in trouble.

Voters brought in their own pencils and erasers and whatnot and left them behind. We had a case of a voter who insisted that she had used a pencil to mark her vote (although we provided pens that were tied to the tables to prevent theft) because it was on the table. EC officers went to check the table and found no trace of a pencil. We asked the polling agents (PACA) if they had seen a pencil and they said no. For your information, every saluran has numerous agents from political parties who are monitoring the entire voting process. Finally the KTM (Ketua Tempat Mengundi) of that saluran came out and assured the voter that her vote would be counted, whether in pen or pencil.

The voter (and her friends/family) then said we would erase her vote and change it. To which the KTM replied by saying that all the votes would be counted in front of counting agents (PACA - who are placed there to monitor the counting process). By this time the voter and her friends/family are extremely hostile, bad-mannered, rude and sarcastic towards us. One older man shouts, “Who’s in charge of this now? The government? The government again lah!” A young man crudely and rudely tells us not to mess around with them. Trust me, I had to dig deep into my patience reserve bank to control my response towards them. The KTM gave the voter a form to make an official complaint but she decided to walk off.

The internet has done a lot of good, but plenty of harm too. Voters were told to look out for dots on their ballot papers which would result in their votes being considered “spoilt”. With the misconception that each centre was given 10% extra ballot papers, people kept demanding for new ballot papers the moment they saw a single tiny dot on their paper. Truth is, centres were given only a FEW extra ballot papers for voters who sincerely, accidentally messed up their ballot papers. In my centre, each saluran was only give 6-10 extra ballot papers although they had 500-600 voters per saluran. Don’t blame us if you found the EC officer refusing to give an extra ballot paper, do you want to deny someone else the right to vote on the basis of a single dot on your ballot paper?

Ok, time to bring in the PACAs (polling & counting agents) who were present in every saluran, monitoring and tracking the vote-counting process. Did you agents fight over a dot on the ballot paper? (Heck, most of you were watching from too far away to even see the names of candidates properly, what more a dot.) All the agents looked for were clear votes, whether in pen, pencil, or even indelible ink (yes, a number of voters thought they had to use the ink to make their vote). As long as it was a clear vote, it was accepted. If there were any disputes, agents would argue over it, defending their own parties. Having observed the counting process myself, I saw no instance of ballot papers being analysed for dots that would render it “spoilt”. And I’m sure most of us know friends/family who volunteered as PACAs, ask them themselves. Were you guys/gals looking out for dots?

I had another voter who stormed up to me and wanted to make an “official complaint”. He was aghast that the SPR stamp was stamped right on the centre of the perforated part of his ballot paper, resulting in the stamp being torn into half. I explained to him that this was done for the purpose of ensuring that no ballot paper was simply torn out of the ballot book. He then demanded to know why there was a serial number on his ballot paper. I explained that it was for the purpose of ensuring that all ballot papers were accounted for. In the event of a sudden discrepancy in the number of ballot papers (say, saluran X should only have 452 voters according to the records of both the polling agents and also EC officers but we suddenly count 634 ballot papers), the serial number was important in ensuring that only the “rightful” ballot papers were counted. He thought for a few seconds over my explanation, nodded and said, “This sounds like a much more plausible explanation,” and went off. I understand his worries, I myself have received many emails telling me how and where and what should be done on my ballot paper. I think that people must be educated on the entire election process to prevent this sort of paranoia.

Indelible ink? People came up to me complaining about the indelible ink being delible (haha). I’m sorry, I’m only an EC officer who assists you in voting. I did NOT make nor order nor buy the ink, and I most certainly do not know WHY the indelible ink is delible. Really, I’m just someone on duty to help you out! (If you must hear my oh-so-important-EC-Officer opinion, I find the whole business of indelible ink ludicrous anyhow, so I really do not care if it can be washed/Cloroxed/soaped/licked off.)

Read me clearly: HELP. I laughed watching the policemen on duty at the school gate. All they had to do was direct people to the correct rooms and manage traffic. I heard a policeman say in frustration, “Saya nak tolong kamu lah! Bukan nak tangkap you! (I just want to help you! Not arrest you!)” This is because he asked to see the printed slips of the voters so he could direct them to their rightful salurans, but they thought that he was preventing them from voting. I talked to many policemen since they too were regarded with suspicion, making them my allies. I found out aplenty about the lives of policemen, got to ask stupid questions like why they weren’t carrying guns, and what they would do if they encountered trouble on election day. We both lamented over our rumbling tummies when both the MBPJ and Police Department failed to send us food until 3pm. I managed to dig out some water bottles from somewhere in the school and passed it out to the policemen who were standing under the scorching sun the whole day. Look, I’m including this just to let you know that we are merely humans beings. I'm certain the police force was fully mobilised on that day. I talked to them and found out that they were on duty from 4am-6am THE NEXT DAY. 26 hours of duty, my fellow Malaysians. By night most of them had bloodshot eyes. They earned my absolute respect and admiration on that day.

I understand your paranoia, but we’re trying to be nice here, at least try and see that?? I detest how anger is so blinding that we take it out on others.

Giving money for your vote. We had voters who sought EC officers out, demanding that we give them money for voting. Seriously, I’m not kidding. There was even one voter who told us that she would vote if someone gave her money. Then she proceeded to sit around waiting the whole day. Haha, no one gave her any money. Another man came and demanded that we pay him for voting. I explained that we were EC officers, that it was an EC booth. He told me that every other voting centre had places to collect money, all except my centre. I shrugged and told him to approach the other centres then. He complained for a while more and left, telling us he would be back. Thankfully, he never returned.

PACAs. Some of the PACAs whom I met were pretty sarcastic and hostile towards us. They were sarcastic when they found out we were being paid for being on duty, told us not to forget that it was the “rakyat’s money”. They made fun of the free t-shirts and caps that we were wearing, again reminding us that it was THEIR money. They persistently told us that they were volunteers and received no money for doing their jobs. Ok, so I was paid RM235.00 for my duty. I worked from 5am to 9pm. I was drenched in rain, sweat, hatred and anger the entire day. You think it was worth it? We were given a small, tiny packet of meehoon for breakfast (seriously, it was about 4 mouthfuls) and one bottle of drink that was so sweet it made us thirsty. Since the canteen was closed and we couldn’t go out, many of us had no water to drink until our ‘lunch’ came at 3pm. Even then, somehow they constantly miscalculated the number of EC officers in our centre and a few of us had no food to eat. I had to take water bottles from the teachers’ staffroom as some of the teachers/EC officers had stashes of THEIR OWN (not government, please) water bottles. The PACAs had KFC and nice lunches from their own parties, they had the freedom to leave and buy their own water and food if they so desired, they took turns being on duty. Why bother comparing? If you envy my job so much, do apply to be an EC officer for the next GE. It’s open to all as long as you’re above 21 years old.

One PACA even had the audacity to tell me that I should “also read” non-state-controlled media to “find out the real happenings” in our country. Hey, just because I wasn’t explicitly supporting political parties doesn’t mean I’m an ignorant fool, ok?? As an EC officer my task was to be as neutral as possible, not to join in campaigning. I pointedly ignored that PACA because… well, because I’ve no energy nor time to deal with such narrow-minded mindsets.

We had PACA’s who came without their proper documents and then kicked up a big fuss and complained to SPR that we weren’t letting them in the rooms. I understand that some/many people had bad experiences with EC Officers, but after a whole day of such a hostile environment, who can blame them? By 10am the hostility I was receiving was taking a toll on my nerves! Many people pointedly ignored us, and at the end of the day, a PACA asked my Penyelia Pusat Mengundi (PPM), “You are a teacher? Not an SPR staff? All the KTMs are teachers too??” I could see confusion written all over her face, and she became friendly after that. -__-

No, I don’t hate PACAs. Erm… maybe I did, for a few hours. Yes, observe me by all means, but do it politely, keep all snide comments to yourself. I never once insulted any PACA (in fact, I introduced some of the PACA’s to the Penyelia Pusat Mengundi and I assisted them in what ways I could). I too could have pointedly ignored you for wanting to observe all that I do, but I did not. That being said, there were also PACAs who conducted themselves professionally.

And to the political party that dropped off the old uncle to vote and LEFT HIM THERE, may you receive your comeuppance someday (to put it politely. I have a much more vulgar sentence in mind). I never did ask which political party did it, but I do know that it’s darn irresponsible of them. I helped this old uncle who REALLY wanted to vote but could only move about 5cm each step, drove him from his voting room to a waiting area after he voted. I went outside and asked a nearby political barung if they had dropped him off, they merely laughed at me and asked, “Which party does he support?” I was utterly disgusted by their attitude and walked off. Finding a taxi was a near impossible task, didn’t see any. In the end the old uncle sat for a good two hours, got all wet from the storm (strong wind although he was sitting under a tent) till a taxi was found. I wanted to send him back, I did. But EC officers are not allowed to leave centres, and obviously so long as no one knew who he had voted for no one wanted to send him back. My heart really broke for this old man… I felt so guilty that I had failed to help him… I left him with other officers and did work elsewhere.

Really, to hell with humanity, I have to say. In our bid for free and fair elections we leave out compassion and love for others.

I’m unsure if there were real EC staff on duty in polling centres, but most schools I know hired everyday civilians like you and I. If the officers were strict, they were merely following orders from the higher-ups. The counting process was done in front of PACAs in each saluran, so cheating there is impossible. How does cheating happen? Definitely not at such a low-down level, if not they would not be hiring people like me to assist in the process. I believe fraud can only happen much higher up, at top-secret levels.

Ultimately, choosing to be an EC officer was a pretty abusive experience. Yes, there were people who were nice and smiled at us, but if there were any problems (real or imaginary) they turned hostile in a split second. I thought I would do my part in assisting out with ensuring a clean(er) election, but after everything, I’m not sure if it was worth it. The pay was definitely not worth it, but I was supposed to do it for the passion. No one told me I would be so badly mistreated for this job.

Will I do it again? Funnily enough, I may consider going through this again. Why? Despite it all, my purpose still remains: I love my country and I want to contribute towards ensuring clean and fair elections.

Note: I did not expect this post to gain such popularity, please bear in mind that the experience I had speaks for myself alone. I'm not speaking on behalf of PACA, EC, MBPJ, the police, the government, etc. This is merely my own, individual experience and I shared it in hope of enlightening the rakyat for future GEs.
