MUKHRIZ HARUS BERANI UMUM JUMLAH AHLI PPBM DAHULU SEBELUM INGIN KRITIK KETUA PENERANGAN UMNO

Tiada siapa dapat menafikan Dr Mahathir telah mengekalkan majoriti 2/3 Barisan Nasional selama lima pilihanraya umum dan begitu juga tiada siapa boleh menafikan yang kemenangan beliau bergantung sepenuhnya kepada UMNO dan Barisan Nasional. Apakah hari ini Dr Mahathir telah berjaya apabila beliau telah tinggalkan UMNO dan apakah beliau juga telah berjaya menghancurkan UMNO setelah tidak lagi bersama parti ini?

Memang benar masyarakat Melayu hari ini telah berpecah-belah kerana fahaman dan sokongan politik yang berbeza-beza. Dua parti terbesar di Malaysia, UMNO dan PAS adalah parti orang Melayu. Kelantan adalah negeri yang kekal diperintah PAS walaupun Dr Mahathir bangga dengan 2/3 majoritinya selama lima tahun. Hanya orang Melayu dalam UMNO saja masih kekal menyokong Dr Mahathir ketika itu.

Tetapi apakah orang Melayu dalam UMNO hari ini terus menyokong Dr Mahathir yang telah keluar dari UMNO? Maka apa yang diperkatakan Ketua Penerangan UMNO Tan Sri Annuar Musa dalam forum UMNO bertajuk 'Umno – Parti Untuk Masa Depan', mengapa pula Mukhriz dan PPBM hendak melenting? Apakah tidak benar orang Melayu dalam UMNO telah menolak bapanya secara mutlaknya?

Hakikat yang pahit bagi Mukhriz dan PPBM ini sememangnya indah pada awalnya apabila mendakwa parti baru mereka adalah alternatif kepada UMNO sehinggakan perlembagaan parti mereka pun terpaksa meniru perlembagaan UMNO. Tujuan mereka nyata, kononnya ramai ahli-ahli UMNO akan berpindah ke PPBM kerana yakin pengaruh Dr Mahathir selama 5 penggal menerajui UMNO.

Ingatkan hujan hingga ke petang tetapi belum tengahari hujan telah berhenti malahan ribut terus bergelora. Itulah yang berlaku kepada PPBM ini, hampir setiap hari kita dihidangkan dengan pelbagai pergolakan dalaman dan yang berlaku keluar beramai-ramai dari parti adalah dari pihak PPBM. Lebih malang apabila parti yang belum berumur setahun ini, beberapa pengasasnya telah pun menarik diri.

Belum sempat untuk mengadakan majlis meraikan harijadi pertama PPBM, RoS pula telah mendedahkan yang PPBM bakal dibatalkan pendaftaran mereka kerana melanggar perlembagaan sendiri. Sudahlah menipu ahli dengan gerakan Armadanya, PPBM telah cuba menipu RoS dengan mengadakan EGM pertamanya dengan 12 orang saja.

Perkara utama yang sangat ditakuti PPBM adalah mengumumkan jumlah ahlinya. Mengapa? Jika benar orang Melayu terutamanya dari UMNO kekal  menyokong Dr Mahathir, Mukhriz dan PPBM tidak akan gentar memberitahu jumlah penyokongnya. Apakah hanya dengan menghadiri Bersih 4, maka Dr Mahathir dilihat masih berpengaruh? Apakah orang Melayu yang hadir di dalam Bersih 4 yang terdiri dari penyokong PKR dan PAN juga adalah penyokong Dr Mahathir?

Sudahlah orang Melayu UMNO dan PAS tidak menyokong ayahnya, kini orang Melayu PKR dan PAN, ramai yang masih menolaknya. Maka berapa kerat orang Melayu yang menyokong ayahnya sehingga takut untuk mengumumkan jumlah ahli mereka sehingga hari ini.

Tan Sri Annuar bercakap melalui pengalamannya ketika beliau dilantik sebagai Menteri ketika pentadbiran Dr Mahathir. Beliau yang juga pernah menang dan kalah dalam pilihanraya umum adalah di antara yang sangat berpengalaman dengan politik orang Melayu. Lebih penting, Tan Sri Annuar mendapat kepercayaan Dr Mahathir walaupun pernah kalah dalam PRU.

Semua kenyataannya tidak pernah sekali ditentang Dr Mahathir. Maka siapa Mukhriz dan Rais Hussin untuk menafikannya? Apakah sekadar mengancam untuk mengambil tindakan undang-undang sudah cukup untuk menakutkan Tan Sri Annuar untuk terus berkata-kata atau ancaman tindakan undang-undang sekadar gimik murahan mereka?

PPBM adalah parti yang gagal dan Rais Hussin selaku Setiausaha Agongnya bertanggungjawab sepenuhnya jika PPBM dibatalkan. Kecekapan Rais Hussin juga perlu dipersoalkan sehingga gagal mengikut perlembagaan sendiri.

Seharusnya Mukhriz dan Rais berani mengumumkan jumlah ahlinya, barulah boleh mendabik dada yang terlalu ramai orang Melayu terutama dari UMNO, masih menyokong Pengerusi mereka. Hidup mengenang sejarah tidak salah tetapi jika masih dibuai mimpi 'legendary' Dr Mahathir dalam UMNO untuk bernafas dalam PPBM, itu adalah mimpi ngeri untuk mereka sebenarnya.

MUHYIDDIN AND MUKHRIZ OUT, YOU ASKED FOR IT

Finally, a consensus decision from all UMNO supreme members to put an end to Muhyiddin and Mukhriz membership in UMNO thus both are partyless and automatically they are with immediate effect independent. This long exhaustive period is however welcomed by UMNO members and in particular from the grassroots.

There will be certain quarters especially from the 2Ms (Muhyidddin and Mukhriz) supporters would find it unacceptable and accuse the decision as unjust. No matter what will be their arguments, it is an unanimous decision. These decision makers comprises of 54 elected supreme council member excluding Muhyiddin and Shafie Afdal. These are the leaders who are democratically elected in the previous party election by party members all over Malaysia.

To most it is not only reasonable to sack the 2Ms and it is also timely. Both Muhyidddin and Mukhriz are actively and passionately involved with the opposition pact in demonstrating their move against PM Najib Razak who is also the UMNO President. They appeared several times on the opposition stage publicly to have their roadtours with a clear intention to oust the majority elected Prime Minister together with the oppositions.

That is what the actual message meant when the 2MS breached UMNO disciplinary procedures and thus violated party rules. No right minded party member from any political party would agree to what the 2Ms had done. Collaborating with the rivals to oust your own President is not only unacceptable but it is immoral too and what more if it is with Muhyiddin holding the second highest position in UMNO as well as the government.

The 2Ms had also leveraged on UMNO platforms for their self benefits to go against the President. Both Muhyiddin and Mukhriz who have their says as Supreme Council members, needed to be critical and voiced their grievances, they should be doing so during the supreme council meetings and that will be more mature and honorable. Instead, they have chosen otherwise and worst, they prefers the opposition stage.

Even if politics would be equated to a soccer game, the duos are no more considered as team players when they not only refuse to work together to score goals for their team instead they would even consider to get the ball into their own goal post. For this, the best word describe for them is traitor and the most hurting and saddest feeling that every UMNO members should have is when betrayal did not come from the enemies but from within, it is thus poisonous.

It is the right thing to do and the decision to dismiss Muhyiddin and Mukhriz from UMNO and suspend Shafie Afdal’s membership is pertinent to their own actions. It took years and not decided in a hasty manner where it was done in accordance within the stipulated party rules and regulation. It will be very unfair to other party members if actions are not taken just because the duos are in their highest position.

This is also a stern reminder to all UMNO members that it is never a license to breach the principles, discipline and party rules despite your position and past contributions to the party. As far as UMNO is concerned and party members are aware that actions against the trios are without fear and favor. Boththe duos have made their choices and the supreme council members have spoken and decided cautiously, therefore the party comes first and its business is thus serious!

PAKATAN FOUND A NEW BELL BOY IN KEDAH – MUKHRIZ MAHATHIR

In politics there is no permanent friends and foes but there is always permanent principle to uphold. Once you have agreed to advocate with the opposite, it is either you are the master or you are just their bell boy.

With the recent support from all opposition representatives to ensure Mukhriz stays as Kedah Chief Minister, a new bell boy for Pakatan is appointed. We can translate from PKR’s president Wan Azizah and DAP’s Guan Eng statement who has given their full support for the status quo. But is it true that all opposition representatives have agreed to support Mukhriz’s position?

With the least number in Kedah state assembly, Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition  has only 7 seats and PAS has 8, where PKR has 4 DAP with 2 and Amanah 1, will PAS reps dance and succumb to Guan Eng and Wan Azizah gluttony demands or adhere to their party President’s request?

As long as Mukhriz stays without his own party generals’ support, can we imagine how much disaster would erupt? If he could not even unite and have any control within his own party leaders, how can we expect that he could even garner the least respect from the enemies.
