Kebebasan bersuara rakyat pula... 'Engkau cakap, kami dengar tapi kalau kami tak faham kami akan tanya, kalau kami tak pasti tolong jelaskan dan kalau kami ditipu... KAMI PROTES!!

Sekiranya benar hasrat Ali Rastam untuk berdebat dengan DSAI, UMNO pasti tidak akan malu mempunyak tokoh pemimpin yang selayaknya sebagai Naib Presiden. What say you Datuk Ali?

The debate -- "Hari ini membentuk kerajaan, esok turun harga minyak (Form the government today, reduce oil price tomorros) -- scheduled for July 15 at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. Jangan ketinggalan!

SEBELUM.... FIKIRKAN....

JDMBunga Raya ... a SABOTAJ?

Malaysiakita - the best blogsite or blog directory. Most bloggers would post their articles frequently and latest news fare always updated promptly.

Recently, this hyper active blogger >> JDMBunga Raya - Wangsa Daily has occupied most of the 'LATEST FROM BILINGUAL BLOGS' column with their postings. The left pic is an example.

Deep Tots:
1. Since they are active posting their articles in this blogsite, perhaps the moderatore could create a special column for them.

2. Sure this is not a sabotaj to Malaysiakita... perhaps im just being skeptical.

3. This suggestion is due to Malaysiakita usual regular bloggers articles seems to be scraped away by JDMBunga Raya heavy postings and it is irritating. Malaysiakita has been a reliable updated news and articles for cyber readers.

4. What say you guys out there?

GUILTY AS JUDGE... TUN MAHATHIR

Therefore when reported, " Asked whether he was guilty as charged, Mahathir replied cynically:
"Guilty as judge. There are brilliant people on the royal commission. There are judges, experienced judges who said that it is possible that I was influenced, therefore I must be investigated. "

Deep Tots:

This is what has been written :
"Guilty as judge" - Judge as a noun. This could be interprated as guilty as the judge.

What if it is written as "Guilty as judged" - Judged as in verb that could interprate charged guilty by judges.

Thats english. Dont take lightly with spellings and pronounciations.. it could be otherwise.

NEW WORD ... (baa-daa-wee)(noun)

There are possible plans to apply to the Oxford and Webster to include a new word for their 2009 dictionary.

Badawi (baa-daa-wee) (noun): To start something full of promise but end in disappointment, failure and/or disaster. Eg:
  • "I'm trusting you to perform this task well; don't do a badawi, ok?
  • "Whatever I do, I will always find a way to badawise it".
  • "France badawied their Euro 2008 campaign. England pre-badawied thiers, while Italy were guilt of over-badawification."

More suggestions for the Oxford and Webmaster:
A synonym to conspiracy : ROSMARE
Eg. There was a huge rosmare in Al-Tantuya's death. Mongolians were shocked with rosmare action by Rosmah.

Deep Tots :
  • Creative Malaysians. Bravo!!!

OLD COCK AND YOUNG COCK RACE …

A farmer rears twenty-five young hens and one old cock. As he feels that the old cock could no longer handle his job efficiently, the farmer brought one young cock from the market.

Old cock : Welcome to join me, we will work together towards productivity

Young cock : What you mean? As far as I know, you are old and should be retired

Old cock : Young man, there are twenty-five hens here, can’t I help you with some?

Young cock : No! Not even one, all of them will be mine.

Old cock : In this case, I shall challenge you to a competition and if I win you shall allow me to have one hen and if I loose you have all.

Young cock : OK! Whats the competition?

Old cock : 50 meters run. From here to that tree. But due to my age, I hope you allow me to start off the first 10 meters.

Young cock : No problem! We will compete tomorrow morning.

Confidently, the following morning, the Young cock allows the Old cock to start off and when the Old cock crosses the 10 meters mark the Young cock chases him with all his might.

Soon enough, he was behind the Old cock back in a matter of seconds.

Suddenly, Bang!!!

Before he could overtake the old cock, he was shot dead by the farmer, who cursed,

“Hell!! This the fifth gay chick I’ve bought this week!”

Deep Tots :

Dont brace yourself to compete with a wise man for you will end up getting Bang!!! Even before you reach the end line. The only competiion worthit is with himself. Dont crow too often young cocks.

Dear Tun Mahathir.. this one for you. Great minds discuss ideas; Small ones, Askew.

JOKES ASIDE...

MBA student VS BE student

This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition organized by Britain.

So jokes aside for a moment... Relate this with our Malaysian Lawmakers.

A MBA and a BE student go on a camping trip,
setup their tent and fell asleep.

Some hours later, the BE wakes his MBA friend and says:
"Look up at the sky and tell me what you see."

The MBA replies, "I see millions of stars."

The BE asks, "What does that tell you?"

The MBA ponders for a minute,
"Astronomically speaking, it tells me that...
... there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.
Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three.
Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powered and we are small and insignificant
Meteorologically, it seem we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.

Then the MBA asks the BE student,
"What does it tell you?"

The BE is silent for a moment, then speaks,
"PRACTICALLY... PRACTICALLY...
SOMEONE HAS STOLEN OUR TENT"

THE MADAM IN CHIEF…. SILENCE OF TRUTH

Cops investigating Raja Petra's allegations
The Star Online | Sunday June 22, 2008 |
MYT 8:45:33 PM
By LOURDES CHARLES

Wonder how the investigation will be carried out by the police when this explosive allegations involves a prominent VVIP and she is a lady…

In the two-paged statutory declaration, Raja Petra mentioned “…that Aziz was the person who placed the C4 on various parts of Altantuya's body witnessed by Rosmah and Norhayati."

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said the three individuals named in the document filed at the High Court here on June 18 would also be called up.

Meanwhile, the Attorney-General’s Chambers has filed a police report against Raja Petra over the statutory declaration.

ROSMAH... THE MADAM IN CHIEF?

'Rosmah at murder scene': Najib mulls action
Beh Lih Yi | Jun 20, 08 7:15pm

Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is mulling action over an explosive allegation that his wife was at the scene when Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu was murdered, his aide said today.

The latest allegation hurled at Rosmah Mansor was made by well-known blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin via a statutory declaration signed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Wednesday.
http://www.malaysia kini.com/ doc/rpk_against_ rosmah.php

Contacted this afternoon, Najib's press secretary Tengku Sarifuddin Tengku Ahmad said they were aware of this latest claim made by Raja Petra, who also runs the 'Malaysia Today' website.

"At the moment, we are looking into it. This is a very mind-boggling statutory declaration, " the aide told Malaysiakini, adding that action may be taken against Raja Petra.

He did not specify whether the action involved lodging a police report or filing a civil suit.

Najib and Rosmah have repeatedly denied they are linked to the killing of Altantuya, describing the widely-known allegations was nothing more than 'slander and concocted stories'.

In his latest bombshell, Raja Petra accused Rosmah as among three individuals who were present when Altantuya was murdered on October 19, 2006.

"I have been reliably informed that between about 10pm on October 19, 2006 and early hours of the following day, the night Altantuya Shaariibuu was murdered, three other people were also present at the scene of crime," he said, according to his two-page statutory declaration.

He named the two other individuals as one acting colonel Aziz Buyong, who is described as 'a C4 expert' and the latter's wife, known only as Norhayati, who is also said to be Rosmah's aide de camp.

'A crime not to reveal'

Altantuya's body is alleged to have been blown up with C4 explosives at a secondary forest in Puncak Alam, Shah Alam. The murder trial is currently ongoing at the Shah Alam High Court.

"My informer states that Aziz was the person who placed the C4 on various parts of Altantuya's body witnessed by Rosmah and Norhayati," Raja Petra claimed in the document.

"I make this statutory declaration because I have been reliably informed about the involvement of these three people who have thus far not been implicated in the murder nor called as witnesses by the prosecution in the ongoing trial at the Shah Alam High Court.

"I also make this statutory declaration because I am aware that it is a crime not to reveal evidence that may help the police in its investigation of the crime," read the document, which was first posted on the bigdogdotcom blog run by another blogger.
http://bigdogdotcom .wordpress. com/

Raja Petra, contacted by Malaysiakini, has confirmed the content of the document.

He further alleged that he has also been 'reliably informed' that Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi knows of Najib's wife alleged involvement.

"[...] Abdullah has received a written report from military intelligence confirming what I have revealed and this report was subsequently handed over to his son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin for safekeeping, " he said.

Apart from Abdullah and Khairy, Raja Petra claimed "one of the (Malay)Rulers" has also been briefed about the matter and is fully aware of the allegation.

He said he has agreed not to reveal their names other than mention that the prime minister and his son-in-law have been given a copy of the military intelligence' s report.

Police inaction over report

"The purpose of this statutory declaration is to urge all these parties who have been duly informed and have knowledge of this matter to come forward to reveal the truth so that the police are able to conduct a proper and thorough investigation into the murder of Altantuya.

"And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of the Statutory Declaration Act, 1960," he said in his declaration.

In the phone interview, Raja Petra explained why he did not lodge a police report on the latest allegation which could lead to a fresh police probe on the Altantuya (left) murder.

The blogger said since there was no action over a police report he had lodged in a separate case in 2001 when he was allegedly beaten up by a high-ranking policeman, "I am not bothered in making a police report".

When asked why the document was posted elsewhere instead of his own 'Malaysia Today' site, he retorted: "Why must it be published on my site?"

Raja Petra was called in for police questioning early last month over an article titled 'Let's send the Altantuya murderers to hell' in which he implicated Najib and Rosmah in the high-profile murder case.

A close aide to Najib, political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda and two police special operations force personnel have been charged with the murder of the Mongolian national.

All three have pleaded not guilty for the ongoing trial. They face the death sentence should they be found guilty.

DEEP TOTS - Do not miss these points:
  • ... that Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi knows of Najib's wife alleged involvement.
  • ... this report was subsequently handed over to his son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin for safekeeping, " he said.
  • ... "one of the (Malay)Rulers" has also been briefed about the matter and is fully aware of the allegation.

PROMISCUITY IN CHINA.. REALLY??

An American tourist goes on a trip to China. While in China , he is very sexually promiscuous and does not use a condom all the time.

A week after arriving back home in the States, he wakes one morning to find his penis covered with bright green and purple bumps.

Horrified, he immediately goes to see a doctor. The doctor, never having seen anything like it, orders some tests and tells the man to return in two days.

The man returns in a couple of days and the doctor says: "I've got bad news for you. You've contracted Mongolian VD. It's very rare and almost unheard of here. We know very little about it".

The man looks a little perplexed and says: "Well, give me a shot or something and fix me up, doc".

The doctor answers: "I'm sorry, there's no known cure. We're going to have to amputate your penis". The man screams ! In horror, "Absolutely not! I want a second opinion".

The doctor replies: "Well, it's your choice. Go ahead if you want, but surgery is your only choice".

The next day, the man seeks out a Chinese doctor, figuring that he'll know more about the disease.

The Chinese doctor examines his penis and proclaims: "Ah, yes, Mongolian VD. Vely lare disease".

The guy says to the doctor: "Yeah, yeah, I already know that!, but what we can do? My American doctor wants to operate and amputate my penis?"

The Chinese doctor shakes his head and laughs: "Stupid Amelican docta, always want to opelate. Make more money, that way. No need to opelate!"

"Oh, Thank God!", the man replies.

"Yes", says the Chinese doctor,

"You no worry! Wait two weeks, fall off by itself! You save money!"

PAK LAH... HOW MUCH? DATUK YONG... IS IT TRUE?

An instant respond from the PM over SAPP President’s no confident vote for him :

PUTRAJAYA, June 18 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi says Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) President Datuk Yong Teck Lee's latest action has been due to the fact that

"I have not been able to satisfy his personal greed."

Abdullah did not elaborate. However, his aides told Bernama that the prime minister would elaborate at a later date.

Yong declared in Kota Kinabalu on Wednesday that his party had lost confidence in Abdullah.

Of late, the former Sabah chief minister has been critical of Abdullah's political decisions on Sabah as well as the move to increase fuel prices.-- BERNAMA

SAPP to move no-faith vote – Borneo Post Online

“In my last meeting with him (Abdullah) on May 13 in Kuala Lumpur, it was very cordial. That was when I made it clear so that I would not be misunderstood. I said it three times that although there would be no crossovers as speculated in some newspaper reports of MPs, on the following day (May 14), the PM must not rule out the possibility of this happening some time in the future because the issues are real and that the MPs are serious.

“His response was basically the usual … that we had been interviewed before, we have this press conference before, we will look into the issue, we are committed to the issue, we want to stop the issue but because I had the impression that the actual act of urgency was still not there, I therefore told him (Abdullah) not to rule out possibilities that something might happen in the future,” Yong said.

Deep Tots:

  • It is a serious allegation and especially when the PM has made this statement public..
Therefore PakLah.. how much? And Datuk YTL... is it true?
Are the goodies not feverish enough that you need more?
  • Is the PM implying that SAPP’s vote of no confidence is a PERSONAL request over national issue or party issue?
  • The PM with his normal approach … HIT AND LATER.. LATER.. AND HOPED IT WILL ALL BE FORGOTTEN…

MR PRIME MINISTER... SHOW US THE MONEY!!! MR KHAIRY... URGE HIM!!!

Khairy and his political gimmick again... Latest:

Issue 1

Give profit details, Khairy urges Petronas (Malaysia Insider, 17 June 2008)

KOTA KINABALU, June 15 — Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin has called on Petronas to make public the details of its profits, including its sources of revenue.

"I will bring up the matter in the Dewan Rakyat. The petroleum in Malaysia belongs to the people and Petronas is only the guardian of the natural resources," he said. - Bernama

"Tan Sri Hassan Merican telah memberi penerangan bahawa Petronas sudahpun menerbitkan laporan kewangan tahunan sejak 18 tahun dahulu, namun ia nyata tidak memadai dalam proses menjawab rintihan dan persoalan rakyat berkenaan isu minyak..." in MP Khairi's blog

"Petronas is responsible to the Prime Minister.. only" Tan Sri Hassan said

Deep Tots...
  • Since when MP Khairy didnt know that Petronas is responsible to the Prime Minister? The whole Malaysia tonite has understand that well. It is the Prime Minister whom you supposed to question and urge to show the rakyat the money. This is the actual issue here... COULD YOU? WOULD YOU?
  • Petronas is a registered company in Malaysia. What does it says?
  • Petronas has been paying tax to the government. Everyone knows that too! Therefore, what MP Khairy should call is that the government to show the rakyat the money?
  • Would you argue and deny Tan Sri Merican's explanations in tonite's RTM1 face-to-face interview?
- Pls refer to my previous article : POLITICIANS... DON'T JUST ASSUME

Issue 2

Khairy challenges Anwar on Sept 16 deadline

KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 — Form the next government by Sept 16 or resign as advisor to Parti Keadilan Rakyat the next day. That is the challenge Khairy Jamaluddin has thrown at Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The former deputy prime minister has promised to force the collapse of the BN government and form the next government by Sept 16.Khairy said in hia blog: “The question I have for Datuk Seri Anwar looking as how he is confident of setting up a government by Sept 16 is this: what will happen if he fails?

“I challenge Datuk Seri Anwar to resign as the advisor of Parti Keadilan Rakyat if the Barisan Nasional is still the government on Sept 17. This is because he would have failed to meet his promise to his supporters.

Deep Tots :
  • DSAI has been claiming over this issue for quite sometime. Only now that Mr Khairy speak up ever since Ezam has been given red carpet over his reapplication into UMNO. I wonder... why now?
  • What if DSAI succeeded in his claims? What would you do and what is your standing? Please table your exit plan.
It seems that MP Khairy has been trying to contribute to popular issues which in actual fact even a junior student has been discussing over them much earlier. Can't blame him since the UMNO Youth President seat will be vacant. No doubt that all his issues are popular but its too typecasted... isn't it too sissy to xerox idea mooted by others?

MR PRIME MINISTER... SHOW US THE MONEY!!! MR KHAIRY... URGE HIM!!! AGAIN... COULD YOU? WOULD YOU?

FUEL PRICE : A BEGGAR'S PERSPECTIVE

EITHER YOU BEG OR BEING BEGGED...
ARE WE BEGGARS TOO?
EVEN THEY CAN UNDERSTAND US BETTER...

POLITICIANS... DONT JUST ASSUME!!!

This message dropped into my email box today from some sources in PCSB. Its worth reading and a very good explanation to all Malaysians.. LET THE POLITIC TALKS BUT MALAYSIANS... GET OUR FACTS RIGHT FOR ONCE.. This article briefly explains why the government is selling our oil and where did all the money go? (should any request for original sources of this letter, please avoid anonymous)

Dear All,

This is lengthy but please bear with me. This is worth reading through ALSO.

We're not actually comparing apple-to-apple here, as most countries listed have a very long reserve life (the amount of years they have till the oil is finished) and they have a low population compared to their oil reserve (hence they can cater to their own needs without any bother to the supply). Some research can do wonders instead of blaming others.

UAE
population = 4,380,000
oil reserve = 97 billion barrels
production rate = 2.5 million barrels per day
Reserve life = 107 years

Kuwait
population = 2,851,000
oil reserve = 99 billion barrels
production rate = 2.5 million barrels per day
Reserve life = 108 years

Saudi Arabia
population = 24,735,000
oil reserve = 260 billion barrels
production rate = 8.8 million barrels per day reserve life = 81 years

Iran
population = 71,208,000
oil reserve = 136 billion barrels
production rate = 3.9 million barrels per day reserve life = 74 years

Nigeria
population = 148,093,000
oil reserve = 36.2 billion barrels
production rate = 2.3 million barrels per day reserve life = 43 years

Venezuela
population = 27,877,000
oil reserve = 80 billion barrels
production rate = 2.4 million barrels per day reserve life = 91 years
Malaysia
population = 27,452,091
oil reserve = 4.8 billion barrels
production rate = 550,000 barrels per day (resources from internet salah. Aku kira production hari2, sila ikut nombor aku)
reserve life = 33 years

FYI, to extract oil from the ground, there're 3 main cycle: Exploration, Development and Production. I wont go into lengthy explanation here, lets just have an overview of Drilling campaigns that needs to be carried out on all three cycles.

Drilling Campaign:

Rig: RM552,000 per day (minimum)
->We dont make rigs. We rent them. The deeper the ocean, the pricier the rig. And FYI, shallow waters of Malaysia is running out of oil. We are running the final race on shallow waters , have to concentrate on smaller pore-sized fields and taking the greater risk and more cost on deepwater fields.

Supply boat : RM 209,509 per day (minimum)
-> we need at least 2 supply boats.

Thats the cost of just two of many, many more items involved in Drilling campaigns alone. I'd like to reiterate that these campaigns occur in ALL of the 3 cycles, each campaign is at least 4 months. Do the maths or better yet, put it in a fancy Excel and publish it around.

Thats just costs involved in extracting the oil.

How about transporting it to shore? How about refining it for industries, daily stuff and for your car?

SOME MAY ASK WHY ARE WE SELLING OUR OIL, since we can use it? Well, here the answer: WE DONT HAVE MONEY. What else can we sell to make money? Tin? Gold? Pepper? Rubber? All these calculated together would not make even a small portion of profit in O&G. Our oil is of one of the best quality in the world because it is low in sulphur. Fyi, we dont need best quality oil for our cars, its only used in industries and in jets. In the international oil price is average USD130/bbl, ours would be close to USD140/bbl.

And then some might additionally ask, SO WHERE DID ALL THE OIL MONEY GO? Please refer to the statistics above, we have less than 50yrs of supply of O&G, although more explorations are aggressively being done in deepwater and smallfields. PETRONAS needs the money to ensure that we have the supply AFTER 50 years. PETRONAS is aggressively pursuing O&G projects overseas, and these projects does not come cheap. In other words, PETRONAS is not the nation's piggy bank, its THE bank for our children's children.

So please, do not be swayed easily by cheap-mouthed politicians who does not have the in-depth knowledge about how the process goes. If they say they want to use our oil money, please do consider our children's children. PETRONAS have been supporting the nation by giving back almost 60% if its profits.

Itu pakai cheap labor tu. Our skilled engineers, even often frustrated by the meager wages they get for risking their lives at sea, sometimes for weeks, still they stay and think of the country. I'm proud to say a lot of them are very patriotic. But also a lot of them are enticed by Middle East countries and others to work for them for more attractive salary. Nak recruit orang baru senang, but we have to train them and training takes 2-3 yrs!. Since we are running our last mile in our existing oilfields, we need experienced workers, and they dont come cheap.

So next time any politician says, DUIT PETRONAS PEGI MANA?, ask them back DUIT CUKAI SAYA PEGI MANA?

SOME MINISTERS REALLY NEED CHEAP PROMOS...

‘Laser mouths’ leave minister speechless
Sunday, 15 June 2008

By SIRA HABIBU, The Star

ALOR STAR: Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Ismail Sabri Yaakob was left speechless at a dinner meeting after several leaders started questioning him on his call for Datuk Mokhzani Mahathir to step down as Sepang International Circuit (SIC) chairman.

Who are you (Ismail) to ask Datuk Mokhzani to step down? We, the 4B Youth members, had benefited tremendously from the motoring activities mooted by Datuk Mokhzani.

What have you (Ismail) done for the youth? We have hardly heard your name until two months ago,” he said.

Umno Kulim Hi-Tech branch Youth chief Faizal Mansor questioned why national Umno leaders were quick to jump every time former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his son Jerlun MP Datuk Mukhriz made hard-hitting statements.

Why don’t you all listen to their constructive criticism?” he said.

Ismail left the dinner without responding to the questions.

Deep Tots :

1. Oh yes! Some ministers do need cheap promos..

2. What have you done... Same question goes to our Prime Minister.

3. These are the cadres that reflects PakLah's strong government...

4. Why dont you all listen to constructive criticism..
He had to read and memorise scripts from Pak Lah..
As though we dont know.. JUST ANOTHER APPLE POLISHER

5. How irresponsible of you Datuk Ismail.. just hit then you run? You left the ocassion without any answer..

6. DATUK ISMAIL... LESS TALK AND GET TO WORK

7. You really need promos?
THEY ARE ALL COSTLY BECAUSE PROMOTIONS ARE VALUABLE.. ARE YOU WORTH THE VALUE?

7. WELL DONE PEMUDA UMNO KULIM HI-TECH

NAJIB & ANWAR... ARE YOU READY ???

FIVE MAJOR CHALLENGES FACING MALAYSIA'S PM (MalaysiaToday, Thursday, 12June 2008)

(Reuters) - Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, fighting for his political survival since an election in March, is now weathering a storm over a steep rise in fuel prices that some say may hasten his departure.

Burdened by a soaring subsidy bill, his government raised petrol prices by 41 percent last week in a politically unpopular move that could drive inflation to a 10-year high and slow economic growth.

Following are five major challenges facing Abdullah:

ANTI-FUEL PROTESTS

- Abdullah's administration faces an acid test to quell mounting anger and, possibly, more organised street protests over the fuel price hikes.

The opposition, emboldened after a good showing in March elections, has proposed bringing 100,000 people to the city centre on July 12 to protest against the fuel hike.

This could be the country's biggest anti-government protest ever, but whether it is allowed to take place remains to be seen. Malaysia bans gatherings of five or more people without a police permit.

ECONOMIC TEST

- Abdullah, who is also the Finance Minister, will present the 2009 national budget in parliament on Aug. 29. His faces a delicate task of trying to appease voters with generous tax cuts while keeping a tight rein on the fiscal deficit.

PERCEPTION PROBLEM

- Even before the March election debacle, Abdullah was perceived to be suffering from a credibility problem after flip-flops over policy decisions.

These included the scrapping of a plan to replace Malaysia's side of the causeway to Singapore, drawing a sharp rebuke from ex-premier Mahathir Mohamad and costing the government millions of dollars in compensation to the contractor.

In addition, a ban on the sale of petrol and diesel to foreign motorists at the borders was lifted, days after it was announced last month.

"No one seems to believe him anymore," said one political analyst who declined to be named.

LEADERSHIP TEST

- Former prime minister Mahathir Mahathir Mohamad's shock resignation from United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) and his call for Abdullah to resign late last month has prompted speculation that festering rifts in the party could widen and speed up the premier's exit.

Abdullah has said he would defend his post as leader of UMNO at party elections in December. A win will mean that he remains prime minister.

In a face-saving measure, Abdullah could quietly arrange to hand power over to his stated successor, Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak, to avoid a humiliating defeat at the December party polls.

THE ANWAR FACTOR

- Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim's claim that the opposition coalition would be capable of forming the next government by mid-September will continue to unsettle Abdullah.

Anwar has said he has enough lawmakers to topple the government following the March election and was waiting for the right moment.

DEEP TOTS :
MAYBE ITS MORE THAN 5.. BUT THEY ARE MAJOR SO NAJIB AND ANWAR.. SURE YOU ARE READY TO INHERIT THE CHALLENGES?

Selamat Tinggal Bungaku.... so syahdu

A nation’s mucsical legacy with special performance of Tan Sri S M Salim in Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS.

It’s a complementary of both modern music and Traditional Malay music – KERONCONG. The melody is fulfilling with passion, purity and unpretentious. The malay could describe it as so ‘syahdu’

The song title ‘Selamat Tinggal Bungaku / Kenang Daku Dalam Doamu’, expresses earnest thoughts and hopes of goodbye.

A solemn expression of the rakyat to our past and soon the historicals. Lets sing along…

MALAYSIANS ARE EASILY FOOLED.... IQRA!

Dear Malaysians,
If you do not wish to care for others, please care for youselves and your families. Some enjoy being fooled, some are mere ignorant, some just dont bothered and most are total fools .... lets start to IQRA!

This weakness of this conscience is prevailent and now is the time that the People Power needs to be at the strength in their conscience collectively to oppose as a society in unifority. If we dont act, it will only lead to a barren Malaysian society, dont you think so?

Every situation represen a choice? Do we prefer to stay with the set patterns of thoughts and behavior that is the path of limitation and fear although it had grown totally unacceptable and predictable or we move on to give birth to a higher mode of expression?

IQRA.. IQRA.. IQRA!!!

Sarawak - HELP!! WE ARE NOT POOR

PROTES SEORANG DIRI DI HADAPAN RUMAH KETUA MENTERI SARAWAK as reported by mstar online.

KUCHING:
Ketua Bahagian Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Santubong, Saidin Massudin Sahini, 53, berjalan kaki dari Kampung Demak Jaya ke kediaman Ketua Menteri Sarawak Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud di Demak Laut, Petra Jaya di sini, kerana membantah kenaikan harga minyak.

Beliau sebenarnya merancang mengadakan demonstrasi bersama 500 hingga 800 orang tetapi akhirnya beliau seorang saja yang hadir membawa segulung kad manila bertulis "rintihan rakyat miskin".

MY DEEP TOTS:
  • From this little story has told us the true spirit of selfishness Sarawakians as Malaysians.
  • Malaysia pledged on Tuesday RM1 billion (US$306.6 million) in extra spending for the key state of Sarawak to shore up support among political leaders unhappy over a steep rise in fuel prices ... do they really feel the pinch except for that one man?
  • "The government is determined to eradicate hardcore poverty and reduce the
poverty rate to 2.8 per cent by 2010 and had set up a group focusing on poverty to coordinate the implementation of programmes aimed at eliminating the problem," he said... this is just too political. In actual fact that one man is the only soul in dire need.
  • THE SARAWAKIANS ARE REALLY CRYING FOR HELP AND THEY ARE NOT ACTUALLY POOR

SSYYYHHH... DONT TELL PAK LAH!!!!

YB : I'm only visiting the office.. but can you tell me if its still available?
TA : A few more seats left..
YB : Then, confirm 10 seats to Jamaica..
TA : But YB, Pak Lah said only Asean..
YB : If he ask.. tell him.. I'm only paying for the posters!!!!

Ubah Gaya Hidup

RAKYAT PARAH DAH NI... MENTERI BILA NAK UBAH GAYA HIDUP?

DEAR MINISTER... PLEASE FACE THE RAKYAT

Fuel hike: Salahuddin vs Shahrir debate live...

(Harakah) - Islamic Party of Malaysia (PAS) Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub has no qualms in facing the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad in a debate on the recent fuel hike.

According to Salahuddin, he will taking that opportunity to bring concrete and and empirical arguments on how the government should best manage reducing fuel subsidies.

He also said that PAS Youth will be handing in a memorandum to the Prime Minister at his office in Putrajaya on 10 June.

"PAS and People's Justice Party (KeADILan) Youth wings will also be holding a peaceful demonstration next week at 2pm starting from Citibank Tower to the KLCC," he added.

The debate will be televised live on RTM at 9.30pm, June 10.

My deep tots :
WILL THE GOVERNMENT CHICKEN OUT AGAIN? IF THEY DO, THEREFORE, WE ARE OBVIOUSLY GOVERNED BY CORRUPT OR PROBABLY INCOMPETENT LISTS OF MINISTERS...

I ALSO WONDER.. ARE THE MINISTERS CONSIDERED AS THE RAKYAT TOO? IF NO.. DONT BLAME THE RAKYAT WHO VOTED FOR YOU EARLIER THEN SOON WILL CAST YOU OUT..

DEAR MINISTERS, PLEASE DARE TO FACE THE RAKYAT!!!
